Chateau Haut Barail Blanc, 12/1pk 750ml (Solid Case) Most dry white Bordeaux are made from a Sauvignon Blanc-heavy blend with Semillon. Chateau du Barail uses about 60% Semillon, making it less herbal than is typical, but the wine is still quite crisp. It is also fuller in fruit than the typical Bordeaux Blanc in this price range, and it can accompany stronger-flavored foods as a result. Try this with grilled chicken, rich fish like salmon, egg dishes, and medium-firm cheeses.
